Barcelona are planning to offload Antoine Griezmann, just an year after he joined the club for a ridiculous amount of money. It is looking more and more likely as Quique SetiƩn definitely isn't a fan of the forward. On Tuesday night Barcelona desperately needed all three points to keep their hopes of another league title alive. With two minutes to go Griezmann was brought on but couldn't do much. Setien refused to say sorry, saying after the match: "I understand it's tough for Griezmann to come on with so little time left.

“I will speak with him tomorrow, I won't say sorry because [it's about] decisions.

"But I understand he may feel bad and I feel bad for him because he's a great person and professional."

There's a definite rift in the squad and things aren't quite right. When Griezmann was bought  to the club, the board had a strong feeling that he is the man they were looking for but everything went wrong.

It looks like they are planning to loan him out, we've seen in the last week or so that the Arthur Pjanic swap deal turned out to be a pretty good one certainly for Juventus. It looks like more of those deals could be done and this could be benefiting potential suitors. The first one being Inter Milan. This could involve Lautaro Martinez who has been identified as a key target for Barcelona, moving to Camp Nou with Griezmann moving the other way. This would help them in getting rid of a player who is now 29 for a younger talent in Martinez. This would probably be a loan deal with a buyout clause which could be triggered later. This will help Barcelona in freeing up some funds off the wage bill. Also Barcelona will be looking to trim their squad to comply with financial fair play regulations. It might get complicated but I think this one has a pretty good chance of going through. Inter could potentially benefit from this deal as they could play Griezmann alongside Lukaku, which could form a devastating attack upfront.

Another team that could benefit is Arsenal and this ones more interesting. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang moves to Barcelona on a full-time basis with Griezmann moving to the North London club. There has been a lot of speculation regarding Aubameyang's future despite the fact that he is reportedly "happy at the club".He has only a year left on his contract and is yet to sign a new deal. The downside of this deal perhaps is that it would be yet another ageing addition to the Catalans squad. But if you consider the fact they're probably getting Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for nothing especially if they're giving Griezmann in return probably makes the deal worthwhile.
